18 YEAR OLDS ~ can stop into the blood drive in the small gym to donate blood and save lives.  If you already signed up you will receive a pass to come donate.  Thank you donars!

 

REMEMBER THE ROLLER SKATING FUNDRAISER ~ on March 31st @ Tinley Park Roller Rink from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Cost is $10.00.  Tickets available in the library or at the door.  See you there.

 

JUNIORS AND SENIORS ~ William Simpson Scholarship Foundation is announcing their 19th Annual Essay Competition.  Winners will receive up to $1000.00.  Deadline is Saturday, April 29th.  Pick up your application in room 1540 (College/Career Center) today.

 

 THE NATIONAL SAT EXAM IS IN 12 DAYS ~ Sign up in the Main Office, Registrar’s Office, or Counselors Office for the SAT Prep Classes held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.   

 

STUDENT BOARD! STUDENT BOARD! ~ if you are interested in running for Student Board, please see Mrs. Brannon after school in room 2657. Mrs. Brannon needs to see all potential candidates in room 2657 even if you attended the Student Board informational.

 

WOMEN OF THORNWOOD HIGH SCHOOL ~ listen well… it is coming. Women’s Empowerment Day!  Save the date April 22nd.  Bring your mom.  Bring your sister.  SWAG bags?  Yes!  Powerful female speakers?  Yes!  April 22nd.

 

SENIORS ~ is it your plan to become a teacher? If so, apply for the Ray Price Memorial Scholarship by April 7th.  A total of $3200.00 could be yours to cover college expenses.  Stop in room 1540 for an application today!

 

SENIORS ~ seeking careers in cosmetology, auto mechanics, construction, culinary arts, court reporting, massage therapy, pharmacy tech, dental and medical assisting are encouraged to apply for the $1600.00 Ray Price Memorial Foundation Scholarship in room 1540 by April 7th.
